Getting started
Mytharus is a browser MMO in a quiet valley — farm, fish, mine, fight and trade with other players in one persistent world. Everything you own lives on the server, tied to your wallet.
- Log in with any EVM wallet (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rabby…) — you sign one message, no transaction, no gas. The game runs on the Base network for identity only.
- On mobile, open the site inside your wallet app's browser.
- First join asks you to pick a display name — that's what other players see.
- Talk to the teachers in town — each gifts you their tool (hoe, axe, pickaxe, rod…) and shows you their skill.

The world
The valley is a cross of connected regions — walk to a map edge to cross into the next one.
- Town — the safe centre: shops, bank, temple, teachers and the fountain square.
- Farmlands & forests — till, plant, chop and gather.
- The Mines — enter the cave mouth for coal, iron and gold; watch for what lurks below.
- The Wilderness — the north. PvP is enabled here: other players can attack you, and dying drops your carried loot.
- The Volcano — a combat arena through the rift: demons, giants and dragonfire (bring an Antifire potion).
- The Deep Wild / Deep Dunes — descend past the far edges for layered, harder maps with the best drops.
Buildings with a door can be entered — homes, shops, the bank and the temple all have interiors.
Skills
Every action trains a skill — levels unlock better crops, tools and prayers. Open the skills panel with K.
| Skill | Train by | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Farming | Planting & harvesting crops, gathering berries | Higher-tier seeds (see below) |
| Fishing | Casting at fishing spots | Rarer fish over time |
| Mining | Breaking rock and ore in the Mines | Coal → iron → gold veins |
| Woodcutting | Chopping trees | Faster yields |
| Cooking | Cooking fish & meat at a campfire | Better heals per food |
| Combat | Killing mobs (and players in the Wilderness) | Combat level, gear effectiveness |
| Prayer | Burying bones, temple milestones | Prayers (see Prayer) |
Farming
Till grass with the hoe, plant a seed, water it with the can, and come back when it's grown. Each crop needs a Farming level to plant — buy any seed at the Market, but you can only put it in the ground once you're levelled. XP scales with the seed tier.
| Lv | Crop | Seed | Sells | Grows (real time) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Parsnip | $3 | $5 | 15 min |
| 1 | Turnip | $4 | $6 | 15 min |
| 1 | Wheat | $4 | $6 | 15 min |
| 4 | Carrot | $5 | $8 | 15 min |

Crops grow in real time on the server (each growth stage ≈ 5 real minutes) — they keep growing while you're offline.
Fishing
Equip the rod and cast at open water. Wait for the ! and reel in. Cook your catch at a campfire (flint + wood) to make food that heals in combat.
| Fish | Sells | Commonness |
|---|---|---|
| Sardine | $1 | 100% |
| Minnow | $2 | 100% |
| Carp | $4 | 80% |
| Bass | $7 | 60% |
| Salmon | $12 | 35% |
| Pufferfish | $18 | 18% |
| Golden Fish | $45 | 5% |
Combat
- Tap or walk into a mob to fight. Your Combat level shows over your head, RS-style.
- Weapons and armour (bronze → iron → steel) come from the Armoury — helmet, body and legs each add protection.
- Giants — rare gold-rimmed variants of any mob: 2.5× health, harder hits, but 3× XP and double drop rolls.
- Blood Moon — a server-wide surge: the sky turns crimson, spawns get meaner, XP and drops spike, and Giants roll far more often.
- Potions from the Potions Master: Health, Speed, Strength, Regen, and craftable Antifire (for the Volcano).
- Food heals — cook fish and meat; eat from the hotbar mid-fight.
Prayer
- Bury bones from your backpack for Prayer XP (+15 each).
- Open the prayer menu with P — toggle prayers that boost combat (accuracy, defence, restore rate…). Active prayers drain prayer points.
- Recharge at the Temple — kneel at the altar (or talk to the Priest) to restore your points. There's an outdoor altar beside the temple too.
- Your Prayer level = your maximum points.
Economy & trading
- Market (general store) — buy seeds, sell produce, fish and gathered materials at fixed prices.
- Armoury — weapons, armour and pickaxes. Potions Master — potions.
- Grand Exchange — player-to-player order matching (see below).
- Coins are one currency used everywhere; carried coins can be lost on death in the Wilderness — bank them.
Grand Exchange
The GE is a live order book: place Buy or Sell offers at your price and the server matches them with other players — even while they're offline.
- Browse by category, tap an item, pick Buy or Sell, set quantity and price (the guide price and live best offers help you price).
- Matched trades land in your collection box — collect coins/items from the Orders tab.
- Up to 20 open offers; cancel any time and escrow returns to you.
Bank
- The vault holds 64 stacks — drag or tap items between backpack and vault. Saved server-side.
- Banked coins are safe on death. Deposit before you head north.
- Talk to the Banker or stand at the counter to open it.
Bestiary
Press G to open the bestiary — every creature you've slain, with kill counts and milestones that pay coins and Combat XP automatically (10 / 50 / 250 kills; bosses 3 / 10 / 25). Master them all.
Death & risk
- Dying drops your gear and tools into a tombstone where you fell — get back and loot it to recover everything.
- Banked items and banked coins are always safe.
- Logging out within 10 seconds of taking damage counts as a death (anti combat-logging) — don't pull the plug mid-fight.
- Dying underground returns you to the surface.
